University of Silesia in Katowice

We have celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of the University of Silesia with a traditional academic concert, although this year it was unusual, because the premiere took place remotely. On that day (8 June 2020), there were also university symbols visible in the city space.

On the occasion of the feast, the façade of Spodek Arena in Katowice was lit with the colours of the University of Silesia. In this extraordinary way, the feast of Silesian Alma Mater was celebrated. The light illumination could be seen on Monday night (8 June) from 10 PM.
