15th International Conference “European Meeting on Ferroelectricity”

28.04.2025 - 11:17, update 11.06.2025 - 11:25
Editors: wc-a

From 31 August to 5 September 2025, two conferences will be held simultaneously at the International Congress Centre in Katowice: the 15th European Meeting on Ferroelectricity (EMF-15) and the Polish–Lithuanian–Ukrainian Conference (PLU-7). For the first time, these two events will be combined into one major initiative.

The conferences will focus on various aspects of ferroelectric and antiferroelectric physics, including new materials with these properties, theoretical models and computer simulations, phase transitions, spectroscopy and light–matter interactions, energy storage and conversion, as well as practical applications in emerging technologies.

The recent advancements in the physics of ferro- and antiferroelectrics are expected to attract especially those interested in an event that highlights new directions in contemporary solid-state physics.

More information about the event is available on the EMF-15 conference website.

Both conferences are organised by the Ferroics Physics Group at the Institute of Physics, University of Silesia in Katowice.
