The guest of the 74th meeting of Ecological Thought Club is Prof. Marek Oziewicz: a literary scholar, lecturer, Sidney and Marguerite Henry Professor of Children’s and Young Adult Literature at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. His current research focuses on the Anthropocene as the challenge for the human narrative systems and the representation of climate changes in literature and media. He is the founder and executive editor of Climate Lit, an online resource hub, and Director of Center for Climate Literacy at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. The topic of the discussion is: “Planetarianism – about a realistic vision for a better tomorrow for the whole planet”.
Our guest is going to be interviewed by Prof. Piotr Skubała, an enviromentalist and lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Silesia in Katowice, and Dr Ryszard Kulik, a psychologist, activist, member of the Pracownia na rzecz Wszystkich Istot organisation. The event is organised by Ecological Thought Club, Metropolis GZM, and University of Silesia in Katowice.
