The Foreign Language Teaching Centre is organising the European Day of Languages at the University of Silesia. It is observed each year since its inception in 2001 on the European Council initiative and in cooperation with the European Commission. It intends to raise the desire and motivation to learn foreign languages. What is more, the European Council undertakes efforts to promote multilingualism in Europe.
This year, the event is organised by the University of Silesia and is dedicated to secondary school students, especially secondary school seniors, who will have the opportunity to sharpen their language skills in workshops and learn many interesting linguistic facts.
The meeting will take place on 26 September 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Faculty of Humanities in Katowice (ul. Uniwersytecka 4) in room B039.
