Prof. Tadeusz Sławek from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia will give a lecture entitled „Where and why I live. H.D. Thoreau and ecosocial philosophy”.
The meeting, organised by the American Corner Katowice – Centre for American Culture and Information, will take place on 24 February 2023 at 17.30 in the building of the University of Silesia at ul. Bankowa 14 (room 438). The entrance is free.
Prof. Tadeusz Sławek – poet, translator, essayist, literary scholar, professor of humanities, Rector of the University of Silesia in 1996–2002, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
