The official inauguration of intensive adaptation course for foreign students who arrive at our university for a part of their studies will take place on 17 February 2020 at 11:00 in the Kazimierz Lepszy Lecture Hall at the Rectorate of the University of Silesia in Katowice. During the event, the students will have the opportunity to get to know the way the University of Silesia in Katowice operates, as well as its faculties, specific units and organisations at the university.
The inauguration will be attended by representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and School of Polish Language and Culture: Prof. Jolanta Tambor – Director of the School of Polish Language and Culture with her co-workers, representatives of international student organisation Erasmus Student Network, Student Service Centre, International Relations Department and International Exchange Office, as well as University Sports Association. The University of Silesia in Katowice will host approximately 150 students from 28 countries under exchange programmes in the summer semester of academic year 2019/2020.
