Lectio Magistralis Internationalis: ‘Two with one voice – towards the pedagogy of interreligious dialogue’

The 10th masterclass lecture within Lectio Magistralis Internationalis takes place on 27 June 2023 at 1 p.m. The lecture entitled ‘Two with one voice – towards the pedagogy of interreligious dialogue’ will be delivered by

  • Silvina Chemen, a rabbi from the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary in Buenos Aires (Argentina),
  • Francisco Canzani, PhD from Uruguay, an employee of the International Centre of the Focolare Movement in Rome.

The panel discussion will feature:

  • Aniela Różańska, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof., an educator from the University of Silesia in Katowice,
  • Roberto Catalano, PhD, a philosopher from Sophia University Institute in Italy,
  • Prof. Mirosław S. Wróbel, a theologist from John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

During the second part of the seminar, participants will have a chance to talk with the invited speakers. The organisers provide Italian-Polish simultaneous interpreting service.

In order to participate, you have to register by filling in and sending a dedicated form. You can send them by 24 June 2023.

The meeting will be moderated by Mariola T. Kozubek, PhD, from the University of Silesia in Katowice. Any additional information is provided by the organisers via email to lectio.magistralis@us.edu.pl.

Lectio Magistralis Internationalis is a series of international scientific seminars realised at the USil Faculty of Theology since 2020. So far, nine meetings have taken place hosting guests from all around the world: M. Borghesi (Italy), G. Weigel (United States), S. N. Klimas (Israel), P. Ferrara (Italy), P. Zulehner (Austria), P. Coda (Italy), J.H.H. Weiler (United States), J.P. di Nicola (Italy), M. Ha Fong Ko (China).
