The International Congress on Education Quality gathers people interested in issues related to the improvement of education quality assurance systems, innovations in academic teaching, as well as the development of teaching competences of academic staff.
The Congress has been organised for four years now by seven public universities in Katowice. This year it will take place from 22 to 24 October. During the fourth edition of the Congress, we plan to focus primarily on issues related to innovation in teaching and innovation in systemic solutions in the context of ensuring the quality of education.
Personalisation of education, issues of the European diploma, implementation of the micro-credential system, as well as accreditation trends are topics of great importance for the modern academia. Discussing these issues will allow us to explore new, better directions of development for higher education institutions. Thanks to the guidance and support obtained through dialogue, we will be able to follow safe paths, already tested by others.
The dynamics of the modern world do not allow us to ignore extremely important issues related to the development of artificial intelligence and its impact on education, the participation of students in charting their own educational routes, or the education of the future – as an unknown for which we must be ready.
During the International Congress on Education Quality, we will build common knowledge around these topics and inspire each other to create the best solutions.
The detailed programme and the registration form for the event can be found on the ICEQ website.
Wiesław Banyś, Polish Congress Ambassador, Rector of the University of Silesia in 2008–2016, expressed his support for the organisation of the Congress.
