Interdisciplinary Centre for Research on Humanist Education at the University of Silesia in Katowice and Department of Slavic Languages at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica are co-organising the 1st edition of Master Lectures entitled “Let’s make a good climate. Nature and climate” as part of “V4 Humanities Education for the Climate. Diagnoses – Best Practices – Recommendations” project. The event will be held on MS Teams platform.
This is the first open meeting within the framework of the project, whose goal is to introduce the problems of climate change, and reformulate the tasks of contemporary humanities in V4 countries and around the world. The programme includes a series of master lectures, which will be delivered by outstanding specialists in the field of ecology, environmental humanities and climate education:
- Prof. Ewa Bińczyk (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń),
- Prof. Małgorzata Kita (University of Silesia in Katowice),
- Dr Ryszard Kulik ((Pracownia na rzecz Wszystkich Istot/Workshop for All Beings),
- and Prof. Piotr Skubała (University of Silesia in Katowice).
The meeting will be conducted by Assoc. Prof. Małgorzata Wójcik-Dudek, Professor of the University of Silesia.
