The meeting is addressed not only to candidates for studies from Ukraine. During the meeting, you will have an opportunity to ask about the admission process and learn many interesting things about the University.
On 15 June 2022, visit the Rectorate of the University of Silesia in Katowice in Katowice at ul. Bankowa 12. The meeting will be held in K. Lepszy lecture hall (1st floor). You can also participate online. The broadcast will be available on our YouTube Channel.
Meeting plan:
- 11.30–11.45 a.m. – welcoming speech by Katarzyna Trynda, PhD, Associate Professor, the Vice-Rector for Education and Students.
- 11.45 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. – introducing the University in Ukrainian – the International Admissions Office
- 12.30–1 p.m. – presentation of the activity of the Student Government given by its Chair, Tomasz Janocha
- 1–1.30 p.m. – speech by Aleksandra Swoboda and Agnieszka Gozdek from the International Polish Studies Ewa Kapela, PhD on the organisation of studies and novelties in the educational offer
- 11.30–2.15 p.m. – lecture “Empatia nas męczy – o psychologicznych aspektach altruizmu” – by Patrycja Szostok-Nowacka, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor on psychological aspects of altruism
