From 11 to 15 March the University of Silesia in Katowice will host Brain Week 2024 as part of the Brain Awareness Week. During the celebration of this scientific holiday, popular science lectures will be held both stationary and online. Their topics will focus on everything related to the brain, its development, origin and operation.
The event aims to promote knowledge in the field of neuroscience, neurobiology, cognitive science and psychology. It is adressed to school and university students, and all people interested in the topic. The open lectures will be held in the building of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice (ul. Uniwersytecka 4, lecture hall B.1.1) and the building at ul. Bankowa 11 in Katowice (sala sympozjalna III – symposium hall 3).
