The inauguration ceremony of the Orientation Week for foreign students coming to study part-time at our university will begin at 10.00 a.m. on 22 September 2025. The event will take place in the Andrzej Pawlikowski Lecture Hall at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia (ul. Uniwersytecka 4).
During the inauguration, students will have the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the University of Silesia in Katowice, its faculties, individual units and organisations operating at the University.
The event will be attended by employees of the USil International Exchange Office and representatives of the USil School of Polish Language and Culture, as well as representatives of the Erasmus Student Network.
In the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the University of Silesia in Katowice will host approximately 215 students from 23 countries as part of exchange programmes.
