The 12th edition of European Economic Congress will be held at the International Congress Centre in Katowice from 2 for 4 September 2020. All stationary sessions will be transmitted online. The University of Silesia in Katowice is an institutional partner of the event.
Assoc. Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski, Professor of the University of Silesia, will take part in one of the panels entitled ‘Just Transition – investments, renovation, funding’, which is planned on the second day of the Congress at 15:00-17:30. The participants will discuss the investments that may mitigate the effects of social and economic transformation of traditional industrial regions, management of land and post-industrial facilities, as well as funding of projects contributing to just transition.
European Economic Congress is the biggest economic meeting in the Central Europe, which has become a forum for exchange of experiences, opinions and knowledge about Polish and European economy, as well as about economic, social and technological conditions for its development.
