“The road to equality” is the name for the collection of various materials promoting gender equality and supporting the diversity in academic environment, which will be designed and disseminated within the GEPARD project.
By the end of February 2024, the international team coordinated by representatives of the Euniversity will prepare a set of tools to support universities in undertaking communication activities directed towards building understanding in the field of gender equality and supporting diversity.
The developed materials can be used in communication activities directed at promoting and creating a model for responsible attitudes towards equality at universities and consolidating correct patterns of reacting in situations of violation of the rules and procedures in the field of equal treatment regardless of gender. The materials will be in the shape of signposts on the path to provide equal opportunities for women and men, and promote diversity in the academic environment.
The results will be shared on the project website. The representative of the University of Silesia in Katowice involved in the team’s work will be Katarzyna Więcek-Jakubek.
