From 8 to 10 May 2023, the 5th International Meeting of Rectors ‘Universia’ is held in Valencia, attended by over 700 rectors from 14 countries. The University of Silesia in Katowice is represented by Prof. Ewa Jarosz, Vice-Rector for Staff Development.
The theme of this year’s meeting is ‘University and Society’. The event is an opportunity to discuss the role of the academic community in the face of the societal challenges. The agenda of the meeting includes numerous debates and talks with experts on three thematic areas:
- lifelong learning,
- promoting entrepreneurship and innovation,
- a network of cooperation and connections between universities from around the world.
The event is broadcast online on the website of the Santander Group, the host of the event.
