Developing the key competencies of the science and higher education sector staff in Poland is the main goal of the project ‘Interdisciplinary Centre for Staff Development – think tank for developing key competencies of staff of the future for Polish science.’ Its implementation is to contribute to strengthening the position of domestic universities worldwide.
The prime mover of the event was the Interdisciplinary Centre for Staff Development of the University of Silesia. Within the project, a unique tool was designed in 2021, thanks to which research on key competencies of employees of 10 selected universities is currently being carried out.
The two-day conference summarising the project took place on 24 and 25 October 2022 at the University of Silesia. The event featured representatives of researcher and support worker communities of Polish universities.
