The meeting between the delegates of Sunsghin Women’s University and representatives of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Natural Sciences took place on 7 October. Taking place at the Silesian Centre for Education and Interdisciplinary Research and SpinLAB located in Chorzów, it was dedicated to discussing the potential of both universities and potential collaboration in terms of science, education and research, especially in the area of chemistry and biotechnology. The delegates discovered the operation of several of our units presented by Seweryn Kowalski, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Prof. Robert Musioł, Director of the Institute of Chemistry; Agata Daszkowska-Golec, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., Deputy Dean for Research Promotion and Internationalisation; and Marcin Libera, PhD Eng., Director of the SPIN-Lab Centre for Microscopic Research on Matter.
Having similar a scope of activities, the entities will put effort into securing future initiatives and activities, including students, PhD students and academic staff exchange opportunities.
