Admission process for activities for the programme of the 8th edition of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is underway. It will last until 12 May. As usual, we encourage you to submit your ideas for all activities promoting science – lectures, workshops, shows, exhibitions, artistic events, and other types of activities.
Proposals can be submitted via the submission form. Detailed information about the admission process can be found on the Festival website.
All persons submitting activities affiliated with the University of Silesia may apply for funding for the proposed activities. Several requirements must be met in order to receive funding:
- the activity must be an exhibition stand or a workshop;
- the application must be positively verified by the Organisational Office of the Silesian Science Festival;
- the application must be sent by 12 March 2024;
- apart from the main application, you also have to fill in the application for fundingnot later than on 31 March 2024.

ŚFN is the festival of Silesian science and one of Europe’s biggest popular science events! The 8th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE will take place from 7 to 9 December at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. It will serve as the culminating event of the entire year of celebrations of awarding Katowice the title of European City of Science 2024.
