The statement of the Russicists from the University of Silesia in Katowice
In the face of Russian aggression on the sovereign and free Ukraine but also on the democratic world order, the Society of Russicisst at the University of Silesia in Katowice expresses their full solidarity with the nation of Ukraine forced to fight to defend their country. The military aggression is a direct threat to the life and health of millions of inhabitants of Ukraine, their future, and their right to live in a democratic and independent country.
We, the Russicists of the University of Silesia, strongly protest against the attack of the Russian Federation on independent Ukraine. Such actions will not and cannot be justified!
Dear Friends from Ukraine, in that dreadful time of trial you are not alone!
