[[{“type”:”media”,”view_mode”:”media_large”,”fid”:”2501″,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-image”,”height”:”86″,”width”:”141″}}]]The 2013 International Congress of History of Science, Technology and Medicine took place on 21st-28th of July, in Manchester, United Kingdom. Its theme was “Knowledge at Work”. The Congress is organized by the British Society for the History of Science, this year it gathered over 1 700 participants from all over the world.
Representatives of the University of Silesia in Manchester were Jolanta Szulc, Ph.D. at the Faculty of Philology, and Gabriela Besler, associated professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, represented University of Silesia in Manchester. Our representatives visited also the Museum of Science and Industry and the University of Manchester Library.
