Prof. Krzysztof Jarosz, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice, has been appointed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education to the Advisory Panel for projects submitted under the programme ‘Support for Scientific Journals’.
The tasks of this unit of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education include issuing opinions on the requests for changing the terms of agreements concluded under the above-mentioned programme, assessing annual reports on the implementation of tasks covered by support and reports on the use of financial resources, as well as presenting the results of work to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The team has been appointed for the period from 10 June 2020 to 31 May 2021.
The purpose of the programme ‘Support for Scientific Journals’ is to improve the level of publishing and editorial practices allowing Polish academic journals to enter the international scientific circulation.
