Philip Zimbardo, world famous professor of psychology, has come with a visit to Katowice. One of the main of the visit in Poland is to support activities related to the opening of the Zimbardo Youth Center in Nikiszowiec district, Katowice.
The initiators of the Zimbardo Youth Center Creation is prof. Philip Zimbardo, University of Silesia in Katowice, and Stowarzyszenie Fabryka Inicjatyw Lokalnych (Local Initiatives Factory Association). The realization of this idea was supported financially by the Katowice Institution of Culture – City of Gardens, Coal Holding in Katowice and local entrepreneurs.
Prof. Philip Zimbardo will also meet students in Kosmos Movie Theater during the lecture entitled . „The Secret Power of Time. Surviving and Thriving in a Timely Fashion” and will take part in the University of Silesia Jubilee Concert on 8th of June.
