The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has granted scholarships to early-stage academics. The list of 228 honoured researchers features three people associated with the University of Silesia.
The 19th edition of the contest has received 1,708 scholarship applications in all scientific disciplines and the arts. These monthly scholarships are granted for three years to people with significant scientific achievements, including outstanding papers and scientific projects.
Winners from the University of Silesia:
- Michał Mieczysław Apollo, PhD; Faculty of Natural Sciences (social sciences / social and economic geography and spatial management),
- Weronika Anna Dragan, PhD; Faculty of Natural Sciences (social sciences / social and economic geography and spatial management),
- Tomasz Gwoździewicz, PhD; Faculty of Theology (theology).
