The University of Silesia carries out the admission process for Postgraduate Qualifying Studies in Early Childhood Development and Family Support.
The studies are financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The goal of the studies is to prepare staff for implementing tasks within the new inter-resort model for early childhood developments and family support, especially for family support in its natural environment, work in the interdisciplinary team for early childhood development support, the coordinated inter-sectoral network of early childhood development support, and local society.
The studies are addressed for professionally active teachers: psychologists, pedagogues, speech therapists, and physiotherapists with pedagogical training employed in particular in public psychological and pedagogical counselling centres; teachers experienced in working with young children from institutions where early development support is currently provided, who do not have qualifications in the field of early development support for children and their families.
Priority admission is given to candidates whose workplace enables them to conduct classes in the field of early childhood development support by virtue of Art. 127(5) of 14 December 2016 – Education Law (Journal of Laws from 2021, item 1082) and regulations issued based on Art 127(19)(1), especially employees of public psychological and pedagogical counselling centres and candidates with certified experience in working with children of age between birth and fulfilling schooling obligation.
Postgraduate studies will last from March 2022 to December 2023. The admission process is carried out via the Online Application System.
