Soft Silesia Group awarded at Imagine Cup 2012

Soft Silesia Group was one of ten teams awarded at Imagine Cup 2012, contest in game development. Imagine Cup 2012 has taken place in Warsaw, on April 11-12th.

Members of the Soft Silesia Group are Paweł Oczadły, Sebastian Mękal i Michał Górny, students of the graduate studies at Faculty of Computer Science and Materials Science of University of Silesia in Katowice and Krzysztof Karaś, student of the University of Economics in Katowice. Scientific tutor of the groups is Ph.D. Katarzyna Trynda from the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Silesia.

Awarded project, called “ELPAS” is concentrated on electronic register for the medical institutions’ patients.

Imagine Cup is the biggest technological contest designed for students in the world.
