Four researchers from our university have received funding in the latest edition of the Mieczysław Bekker Programme, organised by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The awardees include representatives from fields of the natural sciences and the humanities:
- Magdalena Opała-Owczarek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. (Faculty of Natural Sciences),
- Ashley Gumsley, PhD, DSc (Faculty of Natural Sciences),
- Ewa Gumul, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. (Faculty of Humanities),
- Jakub Filonik, PhD, Assoc. Prof. (Faculty of Humanities).
The programme supports the development of Polish science by financing research trips abroad (from 3 to 24 months). It is aimed at doctoral students and researchers of all branches who want to pursue projects at prestigious centres around the world, undertake postdoctoral fellowships and build international research relationships.
