The 3rd Rector’s Cup of the University of Silesia and the Silesian Academic Championships in sport aerobics took place on 6 April in Katowice. The games were organised by the USil University Sports Association. Among the competitors there were athletes from the University of Physical Education in Kraków, the University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Jagiellonian University, Cracow University of Technology, the University of Economics in Katowice and clubs for youth and children: Balance Sport, Enka, Akademia Talentów and Studio OK.
During the 3rd Rector’s Cup, USil athletes were:
- 1st in the trio category – Polina Holovko, Martyna Szerszeń and Agata Maćkowska,
- 2nd place in the solo women category – Sandra Seweryn,
- 6th place – Maja Karwowska,
- 10th place – Polina Holovko.
USil representatives were 2nd in the general classification of the Cup, falling only to the University of Physical Education in Kraków.
On the other hand, our representation took 1st in the Silesian Academic Championships. The individual positions of our athletes were as follows:
- in the solo women category: 1st place – Sandra Seweryn, 2nd place – Maja Karwowska, 3rd place – Polina Holovko,
- 1st in the trio category – Polina Holovko, Martyna Szerszeń and Agata Maćkowska.
