Faculty of Law and Administration in Rzeczpospolita’s and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna’s rankings

The national daily Rzeczpospolita and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna published the results of their law faculty rankings. Among public universities, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia was ranked fourth and sixth, while it took third place in the classification of institutions that best prepare students for the law apprenticeship.

In the 12th edition of the ranking prepared by the Rzeczpospolita daily, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia was ranked sixth among public universities. As in previous years, the place in the ranking was determined based on an assessment of academic potential, quality of education, and cooperation with foreign entities. The ranking was released on 23 June 2023 and is available at: ‘Ranking of law faculties: Kraków again the best’. – rp.pl.

In turn, the ranking of universities that best prepare for the law apprenticeship was published on 26 June this year. In 2022, graduates of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia, as in previous years, achieved a high pass rate in the entrance examinations for legal apprenticeships. In the Rzeczpospolita ranking, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia was ranked third among law faculties at public universities. The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia was ranked fourth among public universities in the 17th Ranking of Law Faculties conducted by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. The ranking was determined on the basis of the total number of points obtained in individual areas, such as staff, quality and strength of education, requirements and quality of graduates, and the pass rate for legal apprenticeships. The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia achieved a high score in terms of pass rate for legal apprenticeships, with a better result achieved only by the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University.
