The division of teams will be announced during the competition launch on Monday, 17 November, at 11.00 a.m. at spinPLACE (ul. Bankowa 5, Katowice). 

Competition schedule:

• 17 November 2025, 11.00 a.m. – 1.45 p.m. – Competition opening ceremony
  • Official opening of the competition by the rector authorities and representatives of the City of Katowice
  • Introduction of the group of Mentors, Jury members and competition team supervisors
  • Presentation of the competing teams
  • Mentors’ self-presentation
  • Introducing team members, as well as teams to their supervisors, and time to prepare questions for Mentors (maximum two questions per team)
  • Q&A session with Mentors

• 22–23 November 2025 – Competition weekend
  • Saturday, 22 November from 11.00 a.m. to Sunday, 23 November until 10.59 a.m. – work on competition entries (Address: spinPLACE, ul. Bankowa 5, Katowice).
  • Sunday, 23 November 2025, 11.00 a.m. – presentation of concepts developed by teams before the Jury (10 minutes per team)

• 8 December 2025 – presentation of competition entries and announcement of results
  • 12.00 p.m. (noon) – presentation of competition entries during the Silesian Science Festival Katowice, Silesian Hall of Fame Stage
  • Approx. 1.25 p.m. – announcement of results on the Main Stage of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice

The City of Katowice is a co-organiser of the competition.
