The first workshop as part of the project “ICSD – think tank for the development of key competencies of the Polish academic staff of the future” was organised on Thursday, 30 January 2020, in the seat of ICSD in Katowice (ul. Bankowa 14). The meeting was attended by members of the project team, who had the opportunity to take a closer look at the work performed as part of their professional duties. By analysing their usual tasks, the participants were able to assess the level of responsibility connected with their activities, time required for their completion, as well as evaluate them using the criterion of validity. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the development of competencies thanks to which crucial activities for task implementation can be performed more effectively.
