2018 – University of Silesia – Ph.D. in literary studies on the basis of the dissertation entitled Robert Graves’s Historical Consciousness. A Case Study in Literary Historiography.
My research interests focus on historical fiction (metafiction, alternate history and speculative history included), which I analyse with respect to the changes the genre has undergone and the affinities it has with historiography, philosophy, and psychology. Although I concentrate on historical fiction written in English, my side interests include the works of Marylin Manson, narratology and selected theories of the cognitive humanities. I am a co-founder of the H/Story research group, with which I co-organise conferences on the issues concatenating history, literature, and culture. I am a member of The Robert Graves Society and of the editorial board of World and Word as well as an assistant editor of The Robert Graves Review.

2018 – Uniwersytet Śląski – doktorat z zakresu literaturoznawstwa na podstawie pracy pt. Robert Graves’s Historical Consciousness. A Case Study in Literary Historiography.
Moje zainteresowania badawcze koncentrują się na fikcji historycznej (w tym również metafikcji, historii alternatywnej i spekulatywnej), którą badam pod kątem zmian, jakie ten gatunek przechodzi oraz powiązań, jakie wykazuje z historiografią, filozofią i psychologią. Choć skupiam się przede wszystkim na anglojęzycznej fikcji historycznej, moje poboczne zainteresowania naukowe obejmują między innymi twórczość Marilyna Mansona, narratologię i wybrane teorie z zakresu humanistyki kognitywnej. Jestem współzałożycielką grupy badawczej H/Story, w ramach której współorganizuję konferencje poświęcone zagadnieniom łączącym historię, literaturę i kulturę. Ponadto, jestem członkinią The Robert Graves Society i rady wydawniczej czasopisma Świat i słowo oraz zastępczynią redaktora naczelnego The Robert Graves Review.
