She has considerable experience as a member of organization and scientific committees of international conferences, editorial boards and scientific councils of journals (i.a., Communication Today; European Journal of Media, Art and Photography; Lége Artis – Language yesterday, today and tomorrow). She is the author or co-author of monographs and papers in the field of broadly understood communication in democratic societies. Her main research interest is behavioral innovations in public policy.
In her career, Dana Petranova has served for 8 years as the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia (FMK UCM). She has been a leader or expert of 15 national and international projects related to evaluation, innovation and communication. She was the founder of the International Media Education Center (IMEC) at the FMK UCM.
Dana Petranova works as an expert at the Department of Behavioral Innovations at the Chancellery of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovakia for Investments and Informatization.
