ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The annual PTNCE conferences are international meetings that gather scientists from highly diverse backgrounds, such as anthropology, archaeology, behavioral sciences, linguistics, psychology, and primatology. Their common approach is using the evolutionary framework in research on behavior. The conference features plenary presentations from leading scientists. At previous meetings, we hosted some of the most prominent evolutionary scientists, such as David Buss, Robin Dunbar, Russell Gray, Ruth Mace, Daniel Nettle, David Perrett, Rebecca Sear, Chris Stringer, Jonathan Wells, Christopher Kuzawa, and many others.
The theme of the PTNCE conference is extensive and refers to humans from an evolutionary perspective. Our guests and speakers come from eminently diverse scientific backgrounds but commonly use the recent threads of the evolutionary framework in their research. PTNCE conferences are well-known for their friendly atmosphere and high-quality discussions. It is worth noting that the PTNCE society aims to create a multicenter scientific environment ready to collaborate and share thoughts on research into broadly defined evolutionary sciences.
As the only evolutionary association in Central and Eastern Europe, we gather scientists and students from many European countries. Together, we strive to create a platform for debate on evolution and to break the barriers of traditional divisions between different sciences about humans. The PTNCE conferences support knowledge sharing and cooperation between researchers from many centers, many fields, and at various stages of their scientific careers.
