Erasmus+ for PhD students
Education under the Erasmus + programme can be implemented at a foreign university with which the University of Silesia in Katowice has signed a cooperation agreement. In the academic year of 2019/2020, scientific trips can take place between 1st June 2019 and 30th September 2020.
To participate in the Erasmus Programme, the following must be fulfilled:
- the student must be familiarized with the recruitment announcement on the faculty or the doctoral school website;
- the student must choose a foreign partner university;
- the student must check the term of recruitment defined by the faculty;
- the student must submit the application form for a trip using the “Student Exchange” section that is available after logging into the USOSweb service.
As part of the Erasmus + programme, scholarship of EUR 400 to 800 per month can be obtained, depending on the country of stay, type of the trip or a financial situation of the doctoral student. It is possible to obtain additional financial support due to the special health-related needs of a doctoral student.
Education realized at a foreign partner university as part of Erasmus + is equivalent to education at home university.
Students may take advantage of Erasmus + scholarship many times.
