*Please inform the travel agency if the departure date is flexible and, for example, the agency can also propose connections a day earlier/later. After providing such information, it may turn out that the ticket price will be more favorable. If the departing person does not indicate whether the departure date is flexible, he/she will be presented with an option for a selected, specific date of travel.
In the process of purchasing plane tickets, the deadlines for booking tickets are currently short, and in the case of the so-called “low-cost airlines” the price of the ticket changes in a very dynamic way, which is imposed by the airlines. Therefore, please send inquiries about a trip to WHYNOTTRAVEL only after submitting the HR or JS application to the International Cooperation Department.
Tickets are sent in electronic form to the e-mail address of the person leaving or delivered to the indicated address of the unit of the University in Katowice, Sosnowiec, Chorzów or Cieszyn. The person leaving does not pay for the ticket. Payments are made by the International Relations Department.
If the journey by air consists of several independent sections on different tickets, in the event of a delay or cancellation of one flight, the traveler loses further connections and bears the costs associated with the further stage of the journey. When making one-time purchases on low-cost airlines, there is no guarantee of price or place on the next stages of the journey.
WHYNOTTRAVEL confirms the possibility of purchasing a ticket in the International Cooperation Department. The International Relations Department confirms the possibility of purchasing tickets in electronic form between 7.30 – 15.30.
