Barbara Grabowska, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof., from the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia, was appointed to the group of experts of the National Centre for Research and Development to evaluate grant applications.
National Centre for Research and Development is a key entity for supporting and creating innovative technological and social solutions, shaping the ecosystem of knowledge and information in regards to them. The Centre initiates and implements projects contributing to the civilizational development of the country. Experts cooperating with the Centre take part in various works, including the process of selecting applications for co-financing, preparing content assessments of reports and applications for changes at the stage of project implementation, and providing other opinions and expertise within the needs of the Centre.
Barbara Grabowska, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. has extensive experience in implementing numerous projects financed from structural funds and as a project manager. She managed the habilitation research project ‘Youth’s sense of identity and its determinants (study of the Polish national minority in Trans-Olza region in a comparative perspective)’, carried out in 2010–2012 (grant no. N N106 324339). Additionally, she was the manager of the project ‘Towards Cieszyn! – improve your competences at the Faculty of Ethnology and Educational Science of the University of Silesia under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Programme 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund (contract no. POWR.03.01.00-00-K312/16-00 of 2 January 2017). The amount of funding for the University of Silesia was PLN 862,762.50, and the project implementation covered the period from 1 September 2017 to 30 June 2020.
