All-Polish conference “International Students in Poland 2011”

The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and “Perspektywy” Educational Foundation are organizing, within the framework of the “Study in Poland” programme, a conference dedicated to the following issues: internationalization of Polish higher education and increasing the mobility of students and researchers.


The symposium entitled “International students in Poland 2011” will be held in Łódź on 23-25 February 2011. The participants will be hosted by three academic schools: The University of Łódź,   The Technical University of Łódź and Medical University of Łódź. The University of Silesia will be represented by vice-rector for research and economic cooperation prof. UŚ dr hab. Andrzej Kowalczyk, prof. UŚ dr hab. Jolanta Tambor – director of the School of Polish Language and Culture, rector’s proxy for cooperation with Asia and Eastern Europe, and employees from the Department of International Relations and Projects.


At the 3rd plenary session prof. UŚ dr hab. Jolanta Tambor will give a lecture entitled “Slavicists and Polish scholars as import and export opportunities for Polish humanities”.
