DS1 Student Residence Hall

Accessibility of the entrance to the building and control area

The entrance to Student Residence Hall (Dorm) is labelled with an appropriate board and inscription „Dom Studenta nr 1” (Student Residence no. 1).

The entrance to the student residence hall is situated on the side of the bus stop. 

There is a ramp with handrails near the main entrance to the student residence hall. In the place of entrance to the ramp, the sidewalk was lowered with a curb ramp. The doorbell is installed at the entrance door, at a height of approximately 1 m.

Upon entering the building we are at level 0. 

The reception desk is located 1.5 metre from the main entrance at level 0.

The stair platform is installed at level 0 and leads only to the level of the higher floor.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and elevators

The building is four-storey. There is no lift. 

The installed stair platform helps in reaching only the high ground floor.

Types of adjustments inside the building

There is a toilet adapted for the needs of people with disabilities at level 0.

Sanitary room consisting of a toilet and washbasin is available for individuals in a wheelchair. The holders are installed and the manuevering space has been secured.
