Maciej Szpunar, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice was re-elected to the post of First Advocate General of the Court of Justice of the UE (CJEU) in Luxemburg. His tasks will include organisation of the work of advocates general who support the work of the CJEU judges, presenting, inter alia, in an impartial and independent manner, legal opinions on cases ongoing in the Court of Justice of the EU. The term of office will run for three years until 6 October, 2024.
Maciej Szpunar, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor has been among the advocates general of the CJEU since 2013.
