Erasmus Studnets Network Olympics is a sport competition for the foreign students attending Polish universities. ESN Olympics is the first Polish competition following the example of Olympic Games and it allows multi-national teams to compete with a sport spirit.

Competitors are divided into groups and compete in different sport disciplines.

Elimination rounds taking place in 12 Polish cities are followed by a competition in Warsaw, where the winners of elimination rounds would compete for the title of the Best Erasmus Sport Team in Poland. Contestants are going to compete in a couple of disciplines, e.g. football, running, swimming or volleyball. There are going to be more than 120 contestants competing in the final and 400-500 Polish and foreign students in the whole contest.

The main ideas of the contest are: rivalry, fun, cultural diversity and fair-play. Apart from the teams consisting of foreigners, there is going to be a team made up of contestants from the orphanage in order to give equal opportunities. Foreign students are not indifferent towards the Polish and the poor and that is why they are going to compete. ESN Olympics Project is subordinate to the Social Erasmus programme, which has been proposed to the European Commission as the biggest success of Polish students.

In Katowice eliminations will take place on the 1st of April 2012 in Academy of Physical Education Campus.

This will be regional competition, so there can participate students from University of Economics, University of Silesia in Katowice, Academy of Physical Education, Silesian University of Technology, Gallus and Medical University of Silesia.
