‘City Horizons’ – that was the theme tackled by the participants of the 3rd International Print Triennial in Cieszyn, organised by the USil Faculty of Arts and Educational Science, with an honorary patronage assumed by the Mayor of the City of Cieszyn.
The Triennial has seen 821 authors registered from nearly all continents, e.g. from: Guam, New Zealand, Nigeria, Cameroon, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, South Korea, Jordan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Uruguay, Argentina, Thailand, Mexico.
198 works qualified for the 2nd stage, from which the jury has selected a total of 62 pieces for the exhibition (51 in the age group of 18+, and 11 in the age group of 14-17). The artists had a choice to use traditional, experimental or digital techniques. The awards and distinctions were given during the varnishing day on 15 January 2025 at the University Gallery in Cieszyn.

The exhibition will be displayed by 7 February 2025, feel free to visit the Gallery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
