The Centre for Poland-South Korea Cooperation and the ‘Translatorium’ Student Research Group invite you to the ‘Korean Day – Culture, Language and Economy’, organised with the support of the King Sejong Institute in Katowice and the Korean Culture Centre at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The event aims to popularise knowledge about South Korea, as well as strengthen relations between the academic community and representatives of Korean cultural institutions and companies operating in Poland, with particular emphasis on the role of the University of Silesia as a platform for international cooperation and intercultural dialogue.
The programme of the event includes:
- opening ceremony with the participation of invited guests,
- speeches by representatives of Korean companies, including SK hi-tech battery materials Poland Sp. z o.o. and LG Energy Solution Wrocław Sp. z o.o.,
- lectures, language and culinary workshops,
- film screenings and artistic performances.
The event is addressed to the entire academic community of the University of Silesia and anyone interested in South Korean culture.
