Games and Literary Theory is the name of the international scientific conference organised by the Game Studies Research Centre at the University of Silesia.
The event is a recurring initiative that has already taken place in such places as Malta, Amsterdam, Montreal, Kraków, Kolkata and Copenhagen. The recent one took place on 10 and 11 May 2023 at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Silesia in Katowice.
The conference is addressed to those interested in expanding the scope of literary theory, and game scholars concerned with adapting the methodological and theoretical approaches of literary theory for the study of games.
