Lecturers from the Faculty of Natural Sciences prepared a series of lectures dedicated to the international Earth Day, which is being held under the theme: “Restore our Earth.”
The programme will feature three lectures of three researchers from institutes of the Faculty of Natural Sciences:
- Edyta Sierka, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor (Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection): “To regain (our?) Earth,”
- Andrzej Boczarowski, PhD (Institute of Earth Sciences): “Letters of the past,”
- Elżbieta Zuzańska-Żyśko, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor (Institute of Social and Economic Geography and Spatial Management): “Around the world via the trail of cities.”
Lectures will be made available in the form of a playlist on the University of Silesia YouTube channel and the Faculty of Natural Sciences Facebook.
The event accompanies Geography Night and will take place on 23 April 2021.
