[ONLINE] Lecture “Women in autism spectrum – facts and myths”

The lecture “Women in autism spectrum – facts and myths” conducted by Anna Pyszkowska, PhD, within the framework of the social campaign “Aware University of Silesia. Openness” will be held on 15 February 2022 at 7.30 p.m.

The speaker will talk about the autism spectrum in biological and psychological perspective and on the myths that have arisen around the spectrum in the context of gender.

Anna Pyszkowska, PhD, is an assistant at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Silesia, a psychologist, and cognitive behavioural therapist in training. In her research work, she deals with issues related to the autism spectrum, social exclusion, as well as therapeutic support for people in the risk of social stigma and minority stress. In her psychotherapeutic work, she works with people with spectrum disorder and their parents.
