On Thursday, 6 October 2022 at 10.00 a.m. we will sit at a table set along the entire length of the promenade in front of the Rectorate of the University of Silesia. The aim of the meeting is to complement the prototyping process, which began on 24 September in the vicinity of the University of Silesia. We will want to check to what extent the proposed solutions meet expectations. We are building the City of Science together!
Together with students, users of this space and media representatives, we will start a conversation about the changes that lie ahead in connection with the title of the European City of Science 2024. In this symbolic way, we would also like to start a discussion on how the space of the university campus should change. We want to find out what are the needs of students, researchers, and everyone who uses the Rawa valley. Thanks to the cooperation with the Metropolis GZM and as the results of the work of the Metropolitan School of Prototyping, part of the campus at ul. Pańki has already taken on a different character. We have built, with the participation of the inhabitants of Katowice, large-format pots and seats, which are to serve users, but also to be the beginning of a conversation about the direction in which this space should change.
