On 25 March 2025, from 9.45 a.m. to 3.15 p.m., the Faculty of Law and Administration (ul. Bankowa 11b, Katowice) will host the meeting ‘NATO – The Power of the Alliance’. The event will be an opportunity to talk about NATO’s role in the dynamic geopolitical reality.
Schedule
- 9.45-11.15 a.m. in lecture hall no. 2 – meeting with NATO staff: Agata Szydełko – Deputy Chief of Acquisition at the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), responsible for change management and business operations, industry relations and capability support, and Andrzej Fałkowski – Lieutenant General (retired), former Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Polish Army and Polish Military Representative to NATO and EU Military Committees. Both guests will talk about the role of the Alliance in the changing world.
- 11.30 a.m.–3.15 p.m. in lecture hall no. 3 – simulation of the North Atlantic Council – participants will take on the role of a member state and learn how the most important decisions are made.
