An online meeting with the LunAres Research Station analogue astronauts, entitled ‘Psychological aspects of space missions’, will begin on Friday, 13 June at 3 p.m. The broadcast will take place via MS Teams.

The astronauts currently staying at LunAres in Piła are carrying out a mirror mission to the Ignis mission with a Polish astronaut, Slawosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, PhD. The mirror mission is part of the wider AstroMentalHealth research project, which is also being carried out on the International Space Station.

The meeting will be an opportunity to talk about what analogue research habitats are, what research is carried out during analogue space missions, what challenges astronauts face during space flights and what place psychologists have in all this.

The open meeting will be held in English.
