ATTENTION!

The meeting has been cancelled.

With the Ukrainian community of the University of Silesia participating in the free course of the Polish language conducted by Ulina Tymkiv in mind, the Faculty of Humanities in Sosnowiec brought about another integration initiative.

The meeting will be held on Friday, 29 April 2022, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. It is aimed at students as well as their families.

The event will take place in the main hall of the building of the Faculty of Humanities (ul. Grota-Roweckiego 5), where various songs, mainly Ukrainian and Polish, will be sung. There will be two breaks throughout the event, during which, in the lower hall, the guests will be able to enjoy sweet treats prepared by the organisers. Children’s entertainers will be waiting for the youngest guests in the Faculty Council hall. The theme of the event will be the Ukrainian folk song “The Red Viburnum”.

Those interested in participating are asked to provide the information on the number of people they wish to invite by filling in the form or by e-mail: cecylia.tatoj@us.edu.pl, aniela.kucharska@us.edu.pl. The deadline for submissions is 22 April 2022.

Volunteers willing to help in organising the event are similarly asked to submit their participation notice to the organisers through e-mail.
