Romá Tauler Ferré
The professor conducts his research at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research belonging to the Scientific Research Council of Spain. His research interests are best described by the word “chemometry” – a discipline integrating knowledge of chemistry, statistics, mathematics, and computer science.
His interests include, in particular, the development of multi-parameter signal deconvolution methods using the iterative least squares method, allowing the isolation of useful information that is not directly available due to signal interference from all components of the mixture. It is widely used in environmental and analytical chemistry as well as equilibrium and kinetics of solutions.
